Detect infrared flame signatures with this compact, high-sensitivity flame sensor module designed for Arduino, Raspberry Pi (with ADC), and other microcontroller platforms. 🔌 Outputs & Integration

  • DO (Digital Output): Switch-type output (0/1) for direct connection to a microcontroller IO pin.
  • AO (Analog Output): Proportional analog voltage for precise measurement via an ADC.
  • Compatible with Arduino and other microcontroller modules. For Raspberry Pi, use an external ADC to read the analog signal.

🛠️ Usage Guidelines

  • The sensor is highly sensitive to flames and also responsive to ordinary light; use shielding and orientation to minimize false triggers.
  • Maintain a safe distance to prevent heat damage. A lighter flame is typically detected at ~80 cm; larger flames can be detected from farther away.
  • Adjust the precision potentiometer to set sensitivity for your environment and application.
  • For higher accuracy, use the AO analog output and perform AD conversion on your microcontroller.
